- To qualify, the applicant must make an initial “at risk” investment of $800,000. This investment cannot come with any guarantee of capital return or redemption rights. Therefore, selecting a reliable and experienced project sponsor is crucial.
Clear Background
- The applicant, along with their spouse and children (if applicable), must have no criminal record, no history of financial fraud, and must not have violated any U.S. laws.
Legally Verified Funds
The applicant must provide documentation proving legal ownership of the invested funds. These funds must originate from acceptable, lawful sources, such as:
- Employment income
- Investment income (from stocks, businesses, or real estate)
- Profits from the sale of real estate or a business
- Loans or mortgages (secured by assets legally owned by the applicant)
- Gifts from family members (with evidence showing the funds were legally sourced)
